Our goal is to promote learning about group dynamics to cultivate communities that nourish, support, learn and create together.

Elizabeth Stahl, MA LPC
Elizabeth co-created The Psychological Arts Group with Marian Salley. She has a private practice in Boulder, Colorado where she works with individuals, groups, families and provides supervision/ consultation for mental health professionals.
Elizabeth has been a participant in group therapy since her early twenties. She has worked with group facilitators from various different schools of thought and in a variety of settings. Both as a client and as a professional. She considers group therapy to be the most influential educational experience in her life.
Her professional training and experience includes the following: Modern Psychoanalysis, the Center for Group Studies, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Transpersonal Psychologies, including mindfulness, and over 30 years of experience in group dynamics.
In addition Elizabeth's background includes being a professional visual artist and teaching art/ design classes for college students.

Marian Salley, LCSW, LAC, CGP, ACS
Marian co-created The Psychological Arts Group with Elizabeth Stahl. She has a private practice in Boulder, Colorado where she provides individual and group psychotherapy and supervision.
She has participated in group as both a member and a facilitator for the past 13 years. She has found group work to be both personally and professionally transformative, generating the desire to share its possibilities with others.
Her professional training, which includes The Center for Group Studies and The Center for Modern Psychoanalysis, is interwoven with her training in trauma, attachment, neurobiology and contemplative practices. Marian is currently giving time to her love of reading and writing as an exploration of intrinsic human experience, enlivening her eclectic vision of group work as a response to a need for social healing and interpersonal connection.
